School Bus Technician: Diesel, Propane and Gasoline Engine Mechanic The Bradford Area School District has an immediate opening for a School Bus Mechanic. Requirements include a minimum of four years of diesel mechanic job experience, extensive knowledge and training in diesel, propane and gasoline engines, maintenance, tune-up, and overhaul. Applicants should also have the knowledge and ability to overhaul manual transmissions, perform preventative maintenance to include inspections, troubleshoot and repair all air and hydraulic systems, repair electrical component systems and have the ability to replace major components and/or engine accessories. Qualified applicants must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and be willing to obtain a Class B CDL. ASE Certification is highly recommended. The rate of pay is $24.55 per hour.
